For Illustration Friday. [link]

Originally the canvas was going to be blank, really emphasizing the empty space. But then I just really wanted to have some red letters on there- the alien was begging me to have him paint something, and I couldn't refuse. Haven't decided if it was the right decision or not.

Would love some critique on this one!

I think the letters were a very good decision. It illustrates the word of the week very effectively and allowed you to repeat the color on the alien, allowing the canvas to remain the focal point but pulling your eye to the detail of your character. Well done!
